Yankee Station got its start in the 90's making a name for ourselves in the
Jackson MS area as a party band, in other words if you come to a Yankee Station
show be prepared to party!
After a 6 year stint playing clubs and parties around the southeast, getting the
opportunity to the share the stage with Quiet Riot, Blue Oyster Cult, Zebra,
Lillian Axe, Kiss Army, and Mike Tramp (lead singer for White Lion) to name a few, we decided
to call it quits for a while, a few members joined other bands while others
moved away or just simply took a much needed break.
Well after 7 years away we decided it was time to crank back up again and we are
hitting the ground running, Yankee Station still has three of its original
members, and has added a smokin young gun guitar player to the band as well as one of the best keyboard players around to complement the massive signature harmonies and powerful vocals, we play a good mixture of Blues,
Southern Rock, Dance Music, and Rock -n- Roll.
